Shari Dowlin, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Shari is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She helps individuals who are impacted by depression, anxiety, anger, and difficulties with relationships, among other life stressors. She uses her extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients develop the skills to better manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She also incorporates other treatment modalities to best fit the needs of her clients. Shari brings a fun, warm, and collaborative approach to therapy to build a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients and to create a safe, inclusive space for all.

 

Shari earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013, and has several years of clinical experience working in outpatient practices, acute partial hospitalization and inpatient hospitalization programs.  

 

Shari lives with her husband, 2 young sons, and rescue Labrador Retriever. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and being active, knitting, baking and watching Netflix. Shari has a special love for animals, all things Halloween, and anything to satisfy her sweet tooth.
