Shari Dowlin, LCSW

Shari Dowlin, LCSW, graduated in 2013 from the University of Pennsylvania with her Master’s
Degree in Social Work. 
Shari has several years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults in various treatment settings. She has worked at outpatient mental health clinics, as well as inpatient and acute partial hospitalization programs. Shari has extensive experience helping
individuals who are impacted by depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, anger management, and behavioral difficulties. She enjoys working collaboratively with clients at their own pace to help them develop coping strategies and manage various life stressors and transitions related to family, parenting, relationships, jobs, and school-related stress and issues, among other areas. 
Shari has a background in cognitive behavioral therapy, and uses an eclectic approach that
integrates multiple treatment modalities to best meet the needs of her clients and build a strong
therapeutic relationship.

Most importantly, Shari strives to provide a safe, open, and inclusive environment for all. Her
goal is to help clients recognize and celebrate their strengths and the progress that is being made
every step of the way.
